Monday, August 2 (Day 5)

What I love the most about this photo is that Monkey looks like a little baby, not the rowdy, hyper toddler that he is.  He looks like the sweet and innocent little boy that I feel like we are growing out of.

Sunday, August 1 (Day Four)

We were playing in our room with Ryan on this beautiful Sunday morning.  I can't remember what made him cry, but this shot catches him while he was crying, but as he saw the camera come out, he started to smile.

Saturday, July 31 (Day Three)

So this will likely end up being a blog containing mostly pictures of my son, but I'm a bit partial to his cuteness :-)

In this photo, he's giving me his ultimate level of "cheese-face" and it's adorable :-)

Friday, July 30, 2010 (Day Two)

This little boy is the son of the leader of my mom's group.  He just finished eating a piece of chocolate banana bread and was as happy as could be!

Thursday, July 29 (Day One)

This photo was literally one of the very first pictures I took with my camera. I've not edited it at all, but I'm blaming it on trying to play catch up. Correction, I did add the Thirsty Waterbug to the picture.

Getting started

I need some accountability with this -- my goal with this blog is to post one picture a day that I've taken with my brand spankin' new Nikon D5000 camera. I really want to see how much I've improved. I am also planning to post other, random posts and some days, you will get more than one photo, but I have to start somewhere, with a goal that is attainable, so my official goal is one picture per day. Wish me luck, and please don't hesitate to drop me a line if you have ideas to improve my shots!!
